FAQ 

Can you produce nut free cakes? 
Some of our cakes do not contain any nuts as a specified ingredient. However any of our products may contain traces of nuts as we do cook with nuts on the premises. 

Are your cakes suitable for Vegetarians or Vegans? 
All our cakes with the exception of Cheesecakes and Mousses are vegetarian however many of our products contain dairy and may not be suitable for vegans. 

Can you customise cakes? 
We can customise cakes if we are given appropriate notice. This should be arranged with Costley’s Patisserie in Prestwick on 01292 473773. 

Is a deposit needed for a large order? 
All orders placed online will be charged in full at the time of purchase. Large orders (over £50) placed in store will require a 50% deposit at the time of order and the remainder of payment upon collection of goods ordered. 

Do you offer delivery on all your products? 
Not at present. We offer delivery on boxes of chocolates, hampers and vouchers. Ice Cream, Cakes and other goods can be reserved online and collected in-store. 

What happens if my vouchers are lost in the post? 
Vouchers purchased online or via telephone can be sent first class special delivery which insures your vouchers against loss. We can also send vouchers unrecorded but the vouchers will be uninsured and we shall not issue replacement vouchers nor shall any monies be refunded if the vouchers are lost in the post. 

How long are vouchers valid for? 
Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After this time the vouchers have a nil value. 

Can I cancel my order? 
Orders can be cancelled without charge if we are given 48 hours notice before the date of collection. This shall extend to 72 hours for large orders (over £50). 

Hamper Information 
Due to high demand we do unfortunately, on occasion, run out of the specified goods included in our Hampers. If this is the case we shall replace the product with a similar good with an equal or higher value. 

Returns Policy
In the interests of food hygiene we do not accept returns on any food products unless they can be proven to be defective in some way. In this case a like-for-like replacement shall be issued. 

Price Changes 
Costley’s Patisserie and Emporium reserve the right to amend price both in-store and on the web site without prior notice. Any orders placed and confirmed before the price changes shall be honoured at the original agreed price.
